Music Magazine Double Page Spread 2

The main image is of the pop artist florence and the machine. As you can see from the main image the artist has red hair, and the seat that she is sitting on has red strips going down it. The image is placed on one side of the page whilst the text is on the other. This makes it easier for the audience to locate the text.

The main text that the magazine wants the reader to focus on is the "got to love". The audience can see that it is ment to stand out from the other texts as it is a different colour and font.

The page uses doesnt use typical conventions that most double page spreads use. For the image there is not a achorage text near the image. However the text is split into columbs making it easier for the reader to read. The colour scheme to the page is very professional. The white text makes the page seem crisp and fresh. This is a very attractive trait to have as the audience will want to read it if it looks professional.

Music Magazine double page spread 1

The aim of this double page spread is for the band the "Foo Fighters" to talk about there latest work and what they have been up to since their last performance at Wembley stadium. This is to give the audience a little bit more knowledge of the band and their recent gettings up too.

This double page spread contains lots of images, including a main image that creates the main focal point for the audience. Each image has some anchorage text so that the audience what is going on in the picture.

The page keeps to the same house style as the front cover, using the same red, white and black. This make the magazine look fluent and professional to the audience. The white background makes the page seem crisp and fresh and allows the black text to stand out.

Music Magazine Contents Page 3

Unlike many other music magazine contents pages kerrang uses many images to give the reader plenty to look at. The audience defiantly is not bored looking at this page. This magazine does well not to look cluttered, and it still manages to look very neat and very presentable and exiting to the reader.

The images used on the page are all relevant to different topics and articles within the magazine. This is good for the reader as they may recognise and artist or a person on one of the images then easily can track to the page in the article. The articles are split into different headings making it easier to search for a particular topic. This is very beneficial to the audience as it saves them a job of trawling through the magazine to find what they want.

This contents page seem very fresh and new to the reader. This is due to the background being the colour white. There isn't a need to use big fonts or bold text on this page as the images are more interesting to the reader.

The importance of each image is reflected by their size. The music magazine will have the more important image bigger than all the rest to give it the main focal point to the reader.

The contents page is symmetrical to the front cover which shows a more mature theme to the magazine.

The contents page gives a mature theme to the reader, however this is beyond boring. There is a obvious use of bold and stand out colours. The use of red and black really catches the audiences eye.

The topics are split into sections, this makes it easier for the reader to navigate themselves around the contents page. Also the audience is given a little snippet of each article within the magazine ,which, after reading will leave the reader wanting more.

The main image stands out from the background which  makes it very attractive for the audience to look at. I like the use of the white image that stands out from the black background. Also the image is very large. Making it the central focal point of the page. Which on opening up to the contents page gives maximum impact.
The contents page is symmetrical to the front cover which makes it recognisable to the audience, which makes it easier for them to adjust to the page. The general layout of the page is very presentable to the audience. I has a nice organisation, very formal and mature.

The information is split into sub headings. This makes it more easier for the audience to navigate themselves around the contents page, and to search for a particular topic.
